About the Artist
Hi,
I’m Audrey A. Udemba, a Nigerian-American self-taught painter. Art is my sanctuary, a bridge that connects me to the divine. My work is an exploration of transformation, cycles of life and death, and the duality of sweetness and decay. Each piece unfolds as a symbolic landscape, revealing different facets of the metaphysical journey. Through surreal, dreamlike imagery, I examine the interplay between beauty and impermanence, creation and destruction, revelation and mystery.
My work reflects my own evolving relationship with the divine feminine, capturing the tension between the ephemeral and the eternal. By allowing inspiration to emerge naturally, I embrace the organic process of creation, much like the unseen forces that shape both the natural world and the internal landscape of the soul.
Through these paintings, I invite viewers to step into a world where transformation is inevitable, and every cycle, whether of growth or decay, holds its own sacred wisdom.
Thank you for your support as I continue to explore and grow through my art.
