Now that I am Home within myself - A Poem

Now that I am Home Within Myself,

Now that I am home within myself,
I can tune out the movie that surrounds me.
It is someone else’s movie now.

Now that I am home within myself,
I can look forward to the new life.

Now that I am home within myself,
I can soar to the edge where spirit meets soul.
There, I will hold the breath of life
within my lungs, within my vessel.

There, I will celebrate my life—
all the ebbs and flows.
I will celebrate the trauma, the struggle,
for they are fertilizer for my new life.

I am so blissful in the knowing—
this supernatural exchange of life and magic.
I am at the pinnacle, at the edge of creation.

I just want to leap for joy,
knowing this magic place within me.
It’s free.
It’s powerful.
It’s me.
